Our location is about the most southern range for Pine Grosbeaks. They aren’t here every year, and tend to come south when it’s hard to find seeds during harsh winters in sub-arctic areas. They are a chatty and curious bird. I didn’t even have time to walk away from my camera as they came flying in while I was sitting in the snow, so I just stayed close by. It’s hard to see their red coloring in the video as it was pretty snowy! | Nature's Kennel
